The hot water comes at 35C from the source, which contains a high amount of calcium hydro carbonate reacts to oxygen in the air. During the reaction, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide get separated from the water, leaving calcium carbonate to subside and form the travertines.

Antique Pool emerged from an earthquake that happened in the 7th century AD. During the earthquake in the 1st century, Ionian pillars crumble into the bath, giving the mystic setting to the water that still stands today.

Thanks to the richness of minerals and temperature, the water has healing and relaxing properties.
